Ding Dong Merrily on High，中文可译为叮咚来自天上的喜悦，这是传统法国圣诞歌曲，最初是一首舞曲，并出自 Jehan Tabourot 所撰写的舞蹈书籍《Bransle l’Ifficiale in the Orchésographie》。现时所流传的歌词则出自英国作曲家 George Ratcliffe Woodward 手笔，并于1924年收录在其作品集《The Cambridge Carol-Book: Being Fifty-two Songs for Christmas, Easter, And Other Seasons》。有些有男声和女声的交换叠唱，非常好听，属于宗教的颂歌，其它多数你听到的圣诞歌曲其实都不是正宗的颂歌，只不过是些节日用的流行歌曲而已，没有很大的宗教意义。
